Middle school students learn about driving through interactive program Monday morning, some Oak Ridge middle school students learned what it takes to be a safe driver years before they apply for a driver's license. "In today's world, this is how the kids learn. No one is making them be quiet; they are a part of the program, they are working in groups. "You might be able to hear them yelling in the background. The seventh and eighth graders watched videos and answered questions about pop culture, but also learned valuable lessons on driving, all in a fun, creative way. The MTV-style program travels across the state and is put on by Nissan North America and the governor's highway safety office.
