Bus Driver Could Lose Commercial Driving License

Bus drivers have to get what is known as a class two C. license, drivers have to take multiple written test and pass a three part road exam. L. A. before they are permitted to drive the buses. D.

He was pulled over three blocks from Orchard Mesa Middle School after dropping off the students.

"As a school we look into that what is your motor vehicle record prior to getting your commercial drivers license and if you're going to be hirable," driving instructor Michael Bush said.

Colorado State Patrol took Williams into custody on Tuesday after a student text his mom that he smelled like alcohol and was having trouble staying in his lane. Instructors at the Sage Truck Driving School say operating a large school bus full of children requires a person's full attention and sober state of mind.

First Student, the company Williams works for, says he is presently suspended while it looks into the allegations. Instructors say most driving schools will look into a person's records before allowing them to get a C. I charge when he appears in court, he'll lose his C. L for 1 year and driving schools say he will also have a hard time finding another driving job.
